Users of a telecom
application act in different way on a single instance. For example,
in a calling card system server some users would be dialing their
pin number, some would be listening to voice prompts, and some
would be already connected or hanging up. This real life scenario
is a good challenge for system testers. User
Simulator solves this problem. This is a telephony card based system,
which can generate calls in a pre-configured way. Every port/ Group of
ports can be configured. It works in two modes.
Voice
quality is one of very important issue for a telecom application. For
example, when we are switching a voice call through a system which
takes a call from PSTN and forward it on IP network, and then receives
it back on PSTN network, there is a possibility that Voice quality
will not remain same.
Voice
call generator generates calls with voice and optionally loop-back the
calls to itself, and compares the quality of received voice with
transmitted one. This PC and telephony card based system can also
perform complex call processing. |
