About the Job:

Deepija Telecom is  seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our call center team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical assistance to our call center staff.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for all data center hardware and software systems, including assistance to call center staff and agents.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system upgrades and improvements.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of call center equipment, including IP phones and headsets.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure reliable internet access for agents.
  • Train call center staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
  • Document and maintain records of IT support requests and solutions.
  • Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies relevant to the call center environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of: Computer hardware, Operating systems, Software applications, Networking and Linux, Server technologies, and virtualization
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
